The mundane fruit bowl needed some more character and humor, and maybe some obscurity, so the Old Banana was conceived. The oldness makes any other fruit in the bowl look fresher than Will Smith in the 90’s.
How it’s made
I first attempted to inject a banana with DNA but with many failed attempts I just decided to sculpt with Super Sculpty III. Brushed on acrylic paint for the body and white nail polish for the eyes and teeth to give them that magnificent glisten. Used an actual banana to reference color and size.
